The Teaching
What should I do if I didn’t understand a session?
It's totally okay if you don't connect with certain guidance or have a rough meditation session. Just know that our journey involves revisiting topics slowly and thoughtfully. You might see things in a new light next time. Always remember, the only failed meditation is the one you skip.
What traditions does OneKindVoice follow?
OneKindVoice draws inspiration from multiple traditions, including Buddhism, and teachings from various sages. Additionally, we incorporate principles from Neuroscience, breathwork, yoga, psychology and storytelling, literature and other disciplines, all synergistically blending together.
Meditation
How do I start a meditation session?
Start by centering yourself and reflecting on your hopes and intentions—whether it's to bring calmness, balance, kindness, or live more mindfully. Let your genuine feelings and compassion be the driving force behind your journey.
Do I need a special place to meditation?
Find a peaceful place where you won't be interrupted. Using the same place each time can help you ease into meditation more quickly.
However, some people meditate on public transport, during their lunch breaks, or in a park. Feel free to explore different locations to see what feels right for you. Trust your own experience to discover the ideal meditation spot for you.
